Skyworth has unveiled a new premium TV series, the Natural Light Wallpaper TV QX. The models are available in 85- and 100-inch sizes, and the manufacturer claims a peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. They also feature advanced Mini LED backlighting, an exceptionally slim design, and a comprehensive Harman audio system.
23,000 zones and extreme brightness
Skyworth QX TVs use OD-Mini LED technology, which allows the backlight to be placed very close to the panel. The manufacturer claims up to 23,040 independent color control zones and a peak brightness of 10,000 nits.
According to Skyworth, the display also reaches 103% of the BT.2020 color space, although the company did not provide a detailed methodology for that measurement. Dual AG and LR anti-reflective coatings are used, along with STW technology to improve viewing angles.
Slim design and sound by Harman
The QX's design resembles Wallpaper TVs. The screen itself is only 2.7 cm thick, while the electronics and audio have been moved to a separate unit.
That unit houses a 6.2.2 audio system developed in collaboration with Harman. It uses 14 drivers and offers a claimed peak power of 410 W. Smart TV features are handled by the Coocaa AIOS platform, with recommendations powered by artificial intelligence.
In China, the 85-inch Skyworth QX costs 41,499 yuan, which is about 24,600 zł. The larger 100-inch variant is priced at 61,499 yuan, which corresponds to about 36,400 zł. Thanks to local subsidies, prices may be lower by about 890 zł. So far, availability of the TVs in Poland has not been confirmed.
