ASUS has revealed the full specifications of the ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace monitor, designed primarily with professional gamers in mind. The unit features a 24.5-inch Tandem WOLED panel, a refresh rate of up to 540 Hz, and a claimed response time of 0.02 ms. Interestingly, the monitor has already been listed by a Polish retailer.
540 Hz and brightness up to 1700 nits
The ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace uses a Tandem WOLED panel with Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels). The manufacturer declares a peak HDR brightness of 1700 nits, though typical brightness is 390 nits. The screen also offers 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage, 10-bit color depth, and HDR10 support.
It includes AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync, and ELMB to reduce motion blur. ASUS has also applied a TrueBlack Glossy coating intended to deliver vivid images and deep blacks.
Gaming features and Polish price
The monitor is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, two USB-A ports, and a headphone jack. The stand allows height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and rotating the screen to portrait orientation.
Notably, it features an OLED Care Pro system with a Neo Proximity sensor that detects user absence and helps reduce the risk of panel burn-in. The manufacturer also provides a three-year warranty covering burn-in.
The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace is priced at 3279 zł in the Polish Proshop store. The seller expects to receive the device into stock on November 2, 2026. The official date for wide availability in Poland has not yet been confirmed.
