Samsung presents modern hotel televisions. It's more than just a regular Smart TV.

Samsung is increasingly developing the hotel TV segment, which for many people remains quite niche but is a very important market. The company demonstrated how the new Samsung Hotel TV and the LYNK Cloud platform work, which are set to completely change the way one uses the television in a hotel room. It's no longer just a screen for watching TV channels, but a center for managing hotel services and guest entertainment.

Hotel TVs operate very differently from regular Smart TVs

Samsung explains that modern hotel TVs have special software designed specifically for hotel rooms and other accommodations. Guests can check the hotel’s offerings, order food, use the facility's services, or access essential information directly from the TV without needing to contact the reception. The system also supports Google Cast and Apple AirPlay technologies, allowing users to easily stream their own movies, music, or series from their smartphones or laptops without having to log into personal accounts on the hotel TV. Samsung strongly emphasizes the security and simplicity of the entire solution.

ChooseTV Cloud allows hotels to analyze guest behavior

The core element of the system is the ChooseTV Cloud platform, which enables hotels to manage all televisions and content from one place. Managers can remotely control device settings, displayed messages, and available services without the need to visit each room individually. Samsung also boasts analytical features based on Business Intelligence. The system can analyze which channels guests watch most frequently, which services they choose, and which items from the hotel menu are the most popular. This allows hotels to better tailor their offerings to clients and enhance the guest experience.
