PS Plus loses a strong title. Sony removes four games from the catalog.

Calendar 2/17/2026

Subscribers to PlayStation Plus should prepare for changes in the catalog. Sony has confirmed that in mid-March, four games will leave the PS Plus Extra offering. The information appeared in the Japanese version of the PlayStation Store and quickly spread through the community. Among the titles set to be removed is one of the most beloved cooperative games available in the service. The time to catch up is limited. The productions will only be available until March 18.

One of the best cooperative games is disappearing

However, the disappearance of R-Type Final 3 Evolved may stir the most emotions. This demanding, classic shoot'em up in a modern edition combines old-school precision with refreshed graphics. The game emphasizes a fast pace, dozens of ship variants, and a comprehensive weapon system, allowing everyone to tailor their play style to themselves. For genre fans, it's one of the most polished entries in the series and a solid reason to check it out on PS Plus Extra before it disappears.

In addition to it, the catalog will also lose:

  • Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge

  • Cris Tales

Each of these games has its audience - from mecha and single-player campaign fans to lovers of classic shoot'em ups and jRPG enthusiasts with unique graphics. After March 18, the mentioned titles will disappear from the PS Plus Extra catalog and will no longer be available for download as part of the subscription. This is standard rotation of the offer, but this time, the list of losses is especially painful for fans of retro vibes and cooperative fun. If any of these productions are still waiting in your "backlog," this is the last moment to give them a chance.

The March PS Plus Extra update will bring not only new games but also farewells. Four titles, including the highly rated Shredder’s Revenge, will leave the service on March 18. Sony continues its rotating catalog model, so it's worth checking regularly what disappears from the offering.
