Once Human is coming to consoles and is doing so with a bang. The developers announced the first closed beta for Xbox Series X|S, which will allow players to check out the survival world full of supernatural dangers ahead of its release. This is an important step for a game that has so far been mainly associated with PC and now wants to conquer the console market.
Closed beta on Xbox when and what it offers
The tests will start at the end of March and last until the beginning of April. During this time, players will have access to a portion of the game, including the tutorial and the Manibus scenario. However, this is not the full version; after the tests, there will be a full reset of progress, so everything starts from scratch at the launch. Nonetheless, it is worth participating, as the creators have prepared rewards. Achieving the appropriate level will unlock unique items that will be permanently assigned to the account.
Access to the beta is limited, and you need to register through the Xbox Insider Hub. This means that not everyone will be automatically accepted, as the number of spots is limited. The entire process is simple, but it requires a few steps in the Xbox system. After signing up and being accepted for the tests, the game will be available for download directly from the store. The beta works only on Xbox Series X and Series S and supports only controller input.

The creators focus on controlled testing, which is why streaming and sharing game materials is prohibited. This means that the beta is mainly intended for gathering feedback, not for promotion. The game is available only in selected regions, including Europe and North America.
