No major changes and Dynamic Island only for the more expensive Pro models
The most interesting information concerns Dynamic Island. Earlier rumors suggested that all models would get a smaller version, but new leaks indicate that Apple will reserve this change exclusively for the Pro models. That means the basic iPhone 18 will remain visually very similar to the iPhone 17. In practice, the only noticeable change for users may be… the need to buy new cases if the dimensions change slightly.
iPhone Air 2 is indeed on the way, but without a revolution
New information about the iPhone Air 2 is also emerging. According to one leak, Apple plans to launch it this year, although earlier reports suggested a later debut. Even if the model actually arrives, significant changes should not be expected; rather, improvements under the hood, like a new processor, than a revolution in design. Apple's strategy remains consistent – the company prefers to introduce gradual enhancements instead of radical changes every year. For some, this is a plus, as it retains a familiar look and stability, while for others it is a downside, as it lacks freshness. However, it is evident that Apple reserves larger innovations for the Pro models or entirely new categories, such as foldable iPhones.
