The ongoing "Server Slam" for the game Marathon is mercilessly coming to an end. These are the last hours in which anyone interested can enter the world of Tau Ceti IV for free and experience firsthand whether the new production from the creators of Halo and Destiny will meet the hopes placed in it.
Why is it worth jumping into the beta right now?
The current tests, named by the developers "Server Slam," are not just an opportunity for free fun, but also a chance to earn unique items that will be assigned to your account at launch. Participants can check out two maps: Perimeter and Dire Marsh, as well as test five of the six available "Runner Shells" (special armor with different skills) at launch. Bungie has also provided a proximity voice chat system that allows for forming uneasy alliances with encountered players – or breaking them brutally at the least expected moment.
