The long-awaited Japan has finally become a reality. IGN has just released footage of "vibing" on the new map, and it must be admitted – Playground Games has done it again. Even though the video is tagged as "pre-release," the game looks so good that it's hard to believe it still requires any fixes.
Return to the Roots of the Series
A curiosity that will delight veterans is the new (old) progression system. The developers confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will draw inspiration from the first installment from 2012. We will start our career not as a "superstar," but as an ordinary tourist. Our task will be to gradually build our reputation, earn more festival wristbands, and advance in the hierarchy of drivers.
Release date and... PlayStation 5?!
The biggest surprise, alongside the location itself, is the target platforms. Microsoft confirmed that the game will debut on May 19, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S and PC (also in Game Pass). But that's not all – reportedly, still in 2026, Forza Horizon 6 will officially be available on the PlayStation 5 console
