What is worth downloading before changing the offer?
October 2025 was really strong. As part of PS Plus Essential, you could grab three well-received games:
Alan Wake 2 (PS5) – an atmospheric horror that received excellent reviews and proved that Remedy still knows how to scare by creating a unique atmosphere.
Goat Simulator 3 (PS5, PS4) – pure madness and total absurdity. If you need a breath of fresh air after Alan Wake, this game is the perfect dose of comedy and chaos.
Cocoon (PS5, PS4) – an artistic gem from the co-creator of Limbo and Inside. Shorter, but extremely polished and full of ideas.
Why is it worth adding them, even if you don't plan to play now?
Simply put – once assigned, games stay in your library as long as you maintain your PS Plus Essential subscription. You don't have to download them right away; just click "Add to Library." This gives you access for the future when you might feel like trying something new.
It's worth noting that over half of players (55%) in a survey about the October lineup identified as "satisfied" or "fairly satisfied" – and it's not hard to see why. It's one of the stronger lineups in recent months.
The new offer for November 2025 will be available tomorrow – and it looks like Sony is preparing something really interesting. However, before that happens, make sure that Alan Wake 2, Goat Simulator 3, and Cocoon are already in your library.
