Apple has presented the new MacBook Neo, which is set to be the cheapest laptop in the brand's history. The device offers an aluminum construction, a Liquid Retina display, and Apple's proprietary chip, with a starting price of 2999 PLN. The new model has been designed for users who want to enter the Apple ecosystem without having to buy more expensive computers from the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro series.
Lightweight, Good Build and Colorful Case
The MacBook Neo features an aluminum casing weighing about 1.24 kg, making it a portable computer. The laptop is available in several colors, including pink, indigo, silver, and citrus yellow. The manufacturer emphasizes that the design is made for durability while maintaining the characteristic minimalist style known from Mac computers. The laptop is equipped with a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2408 × 1506 pixels and a brightness of up to 500 nits. The display also supports a billion colors, making photos, videos, and applications look more natural and detailed. The anti-reflective coating additionally improves comfort when working in various lighting conditions.
At the heart of the MacBook Neo is the A18 Pro chip, designed to ensure smooth performance during everyday tasks such as browsing the internet, watching movies, or editing photos.

even 3 times faster in AI tasks performed locally
The computer also utilizes the Neural Engine, which supports Apple Intelligence features and other artificial intelligence-based tools.
Battery for the Whole Day
The MacBook Neo is said to offer up to 16 hours of battery life, allowing users to use the laptop all day without the need for charging. The device has no fan, which enables completely silent operation. The laptop is also equipped with a FaceTime HD 1080p camera, two noise-reducing microphones, speakers with spatial audio support and Dolby Atmos, a Magic Keyboard, and a large Multi-Touch trackpad. The new MacBook Neo can be pre-ordered right now. Official sales will begin on March 11. The starting price is 2999 PLN, while in the educational offer, the laptop will cost 2499 PLN.
MacBook Neo is an attempt to create a more affordable Apple computer. Thanks to the A18 Pro chip, the Liquid Retina display, and a long battery life, the laptop is expected to provide an experience similar to that of MacBooks at a significantly lower price than previous models.
