Leaks mention new MacBooks with M5 chips, a budget laptop for students, and the iPhone 17e. It is possible that this will be one of the largest waves of launches from Apple in recent years.
Cheap MacBook and new M5 chips
There is the most excitement around the announced, cheaper MacBook. According to unofficial information, its price is expected to be in the range of $600–$800, which would make it the cheapest new Apple laptop in years. The device may target students and users looking for an alternative to cheaper Windows laptops. At the same time, Apple is expected to refresh the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, equipping them with new M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max processors. In light of rising costs for RAM and SSD storage, the new models may be the last ones before a potential price increase.
