XGIMI has introduced two new projectors to the Japanese market: the Elfin Flip Pro (New) and the Nova Air. The first features a three-colour laser light source, which significantly increases image brightness. The second is a compact, more affordable option for watching films at home.
Elfin Flip Pro (New) with Nichia RGB laser and Google TV
The biggest new feature in the Elfin Flip Pro (New) is the use of a three-colour RGB laser from Nichia. Thanks to it, the claimed brightness has increased from 400 to 1000 ISO lumens, 2.5 times that of its predecessor.
The projector offers Full HD resolution, an image diagonal of up to 200 inches and a dynamic contrast of 10,000:1. It also retains a rotating base with 150° adjustment, allowing you to project onto a wall or ceiling. Autofocus and geometry correction make setup easier.
Also new is Google TV, with access to Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video. The housing is just 7.5 cm thick and the unit weighs 1.33 kg.
Nova Air: smaller and cheaper projector
The second model, Nova Air, uses LCD technology with LED backlighting. It offers Full HD, 250 ISO lumens of brightness and can project images up to 150 inches.
The projector weighs 1.2 kg and has a 300° rotating base. Compared with the standard Nova, the battery has been removed, so the unit must be plugged into the mains. It also features JBL speakers with a total output of 6 W and the XGIMI OS.
Prices and availability
The Elfin Flip Pro (New) costs ¥99,800 (around 2,500 zł) in Japan, while the Nova Air is priced at ¥36,900 (around 920 zł).
Both projectors are available in Japan from 30 October 2026. XGIMI has not yet confirmed dates for their introduction to the Polish market.
