Skyworth has unveiled the new premium Natural Light Wallpaper TV QX series. The televisions are available in 85- and 100-inch sizes, and the manufacturer claims a peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. They also feature advanced Mini LED backlighting, an exceptionally slim design and an extensive Harman audio system.
23 thousand zones and extreme brightness
The Skyworth QX TVs use OD-Mini LED technology, which allows the backlight to be placed very close to the panel. The manufacturer claims up to 23,040 independent colour control zones and a peak brightness of 10,000 nits.
According to Skyworth, the screen also reaches 103% of the BT.2020 colour space, although the company has not provided a detailed methodology for that measurement. It also features dual anti-reflective coatings (AG and LR) and STW technology to improve viewing angles.
Slim design and Harman audio
The QX's construction resembles Wallpaper-style TVs. The panel itself is just 2.7 cm thick, with the electronics and audio housed in a separate unit.
It houses a 6.2.2 audio system developed in collaboration with Harman. It uses 14 drivers and has a claimed peak output of 410 W. Smart TV functions are handled by the Coocaa AIOS system with AI-based recommendations.
In China the 85-inch Skyworth QX costs 41,499 yuan, around 24,600 zł. The larger 100-inch variant is priced at 61,499 yuan, roughly 36,400 zł. With local subsidies prices may be about 890 zł lower. So far availability of the televisions in Poland has not been confirmed.
