ASUS has revealed the full specifications of the ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace monitor, designed primarily for professional gamers. The device features a 24.5-inch Tandem WOLED panel, a refresh rate of up to 540 Hz and a claimed response time of 0.02 ms. Interestingly, the monitor is already listed by a Polish retailer.

540 Hz and brightness up to 1,700 nits

ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace uses a Tandem WOLED panel with Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels). The manufacturer specifies a peak HDR brightness of 1,700 nits, although typical brightness is 390 nits. The screen also offers 99.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space, 10-bit colour depth and HDR10 support.

It also features AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync and ELMB motion blur reduction. ASUS has also applied a TrueBlack Glossy coating, which is intended to deliver a crisp image and deep blacks.

Gaming features and the Polish price

The monitor is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, two USB-A ports and a headphone output. The stand allows height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivoting the screen into portrait orientation.

An interesting feature is the OLED Care Pro system with a Neo Proximity sensor that detects the user's absence and helps reduce the risk of panel burn-in. The manufacturer also provides a three-year warranty covering burn-in.

The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace has been priced at PLN 3,279 in the Polish Proshop store. The retailer expects to receive the device into stock on 2 November 2026. An official date for wide availability in Poland has not yet been confirmed.
