A new week means another batch of premieres for owners of Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Microsoft has published a list of all the games that will be released between 15th and 19th June. This time, the list is exceptionally long and includes sports titles, strategies, horror games, racing games, as well as classic platformers. There will also be new arrivals available from day one in the Game Pass service. The biggest interest is understandably in the latest installment of the UFC series from Electronic Arts.
UFC 6 and several major releases attract the attention of players
The most significant release of the upcoming week will undoubtedly be EA Sports UFC 6, which will debut on June 19 exclusively on Xbox Series X|S. The developers promise the greatest technological advancement in the history of the series. The new animation systems are set to replicate the movements of the fighters even more faithfully, while the improved damage physics should make the matches more realistic than ever before. The game will also feature new career modes and additional narrative elements. Among the larger releases is The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales from Square Enix. This is a new production from the creators of Octopath Traveler that utilises the popular HD-2D style. Strategy enthusiasts will receive R-Type Tactics I & II Cosmos, a refreshed set of two classic science fiction games. Copa City, an unusual city management simulator set during major football events, also promises to be interesting. Players will organise fan zones, transportation, and infrastructure for the fans of the biggest clubs in the world. Racing fans may want to take note of #Drive Rally, an arcade production inspired by rally racing from the nineties. There will also be horrors, with the cooperative Backrooms: Escape Together set to launch on June 18. This title is designed for up to six players, focusing on procedurally generated levels and an atmosphere of unease. The coming days will show which of these productions will gain the most popularity among the Xbox community.
Game Pass and independent productions also have something to offer
Next week will also see the release of smaller games that could pleasantly surprise players. Particularly interesting is Junkster, a three-dimensional platformer available from launch on Game Pass. Players will take on the role of a small construction robot that must use space debris to repair a damaged ship. Among the independent releases is the narrative game Forgotlings, set in a world inhabited by forgotten objects trying to reclaim their significance. Puzzle game enthusiasts will receive titles such as Find The Cats, Summer Seaside Search, and Word Search by JGABRIB. For platformer fans, there is The Cub, inspired by classic hits from the Sega console era, as well as Loop Dash, a challenging game based on reflexes and precision. Also on the list is Drug Dealer Simulator 2, which, after its success on computers, is coming to Xbox consoles. This production will allow players to develop their own criminal empire in an open world. Some players may also be interested in Kooeh: A Timeless Delight, a calming restaurant game inspired by Malaysian culture. Next week will also see arcade games, football quizzes, and classic shoot 'em ups. In total, Microsoft has announced over twenty releases in just a few days. As a result, almost everyone will find something for themselves, regardless of their favourite genre.
The coming week will be very intense for owners of Xbox consoles. The biggest release remains EA Sports UFC 6, but the list also includes new RPGs, strategy games, horror titles, and independent productions. An additional advantage is the presence of selected titles in Game Pass from the day of their debut. June is therefore shaping up to be exceptionally interesting for players using the Microsoft ecosystem.
