TCL has unveiled its full range of televisions for 2026 and started selling them on global markets. The company is developing two key backlighting technologies, RGB LED and SQD-miniLED, while also expanding miniLED into significantly cheaper models. The new line also includes screens of impressive sizes, reaching 115 inches. The manufacturer expects the new solutions will help it further cement its presence in the premium TV segment. This is another important step for the brand, which is currently the second-largest television maker in the world.
RGB LED and miniLED drive TCL's 2026 line-up
The highest-positioned model in the new range is TCL X11L, using SQD-miniLED technology. Just below it are the RM9L and RM7L models, which use modern RGB LED backlighting. The manufacturer has also prepared the C8L and C7L series, successors to last year's C8K and C7K models. One of the biggest changes is the arrival of miniLED technology in more affordable TVs. For the first time it has also reached the P series, represented by the P8L model. This will make advanced backlighting available to a much larger number of users. All new TVs run on Google TV. Depending on the model, screen sizes range from 43 to 115 inches. TCL is continuing a strategy focused on developing LCD televisions and has not yet launched its own OLED TVs. The company is, however, building a new OLED factory that will initially produce smaller panels for other devices. The new range shows that TCL continues to invest heavily in the development of LCD technology.
Televisions are already available in many markets
The new TCL 2026 series is already on sale in North America, Europe and other global markets. Initial prices remain relatively high, but the manufacturer expects gradual reductions in the coming months. In previous years TCL model discounts often exceeded 50 percent. As a result, the brand's televisions regularly rank among the best-value options in their price segments. TCL also emphasises its strong market position, currently the world's second-largest TV manufacturer. The company continues to expand its range of very large-screen displays, responding to growing interest in 98- and 115-inch TVs. Over the coming months the range will be gradually rolled out to additional retailers. The manufacturer hopes the new models will further increase its share of the global TV market. Models featuring RGB LED technology and the increasingly available mini-LED TVs are expected to be particularly important. TCL is basing its strategy for the year ahead on those models.
TCL has officially begun selling its 2026 range of televisions. The manufacturer is developing RGB LED and SQD-miniLED technologies, while also making miniLED available in more affordable models. The new TVs are already available in many markets and are intended to help the company maintain its position as one of the world’s largest TV manufacturers.
