Sony has unveiled the Prism collection, featuring transparent DualSense controllers and PlayStation 5 console panels. The accessories will be available in three colours, with a look that harks back to the distinctive transparent gadgets of the 1990s. The manufacturer has already revealed the prices and the release date.
Three colours and a transparent casing
The Prism collection includes three colour variants: Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray.
The DualSense controllers have received a semi-transparent, glossy casing, through which some internal components can be seen. A similar finish was used on the interchangeable panels of the PS5 console.
Sony admits it was inspired by transparent devices popular in the late 1990s. The new collection aims to refresh that style while keeping the distinctive look of the PlayStation 5.
How much do the new accessories cost?
Transparent DualSense controllers are priced at €84.99, while PS5 faceplates will cost €74.99.
Pre-orders will begin on 10 November 2026, and the official launch is scheduled for 4 February 2027.
The controllers are expected to be available worldwide, while availability of the faceplates will be more limited. Poland is not on the list of countries with direct PlayStation sales, so details on domestic distribution are still to come.
