LG is expanding its Gallery+ service with a new collection of digital artworks. This time the company has focused on Korean cultural heritage, making available 21 works inspired by the royal Joseon dynasty. As a result, the television can serve as a digital picture even when we are not watching films or series.

The new K-Heritage collection comprises 21 digital works depicting historic palaces, royal paintings, ceramics and traditional objects. Among them are reinterpretations of the painting The Sun, the Moon and Five Peaks and animated views of Gyeongbokgung Palace.

The materials were created in collaboration with WIPCO, HEDIT and ELFACTORY. This is the first instalment of a larger project in which LG intends to showcase the art and heritage of different regions of the world.

More than 5,000 works in LG Gallery+

The LG Gallery+ service now offers over 5,000 works, covering classical painting, contemporary art, game illustrations and nature photography. The company collaborates with, among others, the National Gallery in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Saatchi Art platform.

Gallery+ is a subscription service available on compatible televisions running webOS 25 or later, and on selected older models following an update.

It is worth noting, however, that Poland is not currently on the official list of countries supported by the premium version of LG Gallery+. It is unclear when the service will be made available to Polish users.
