Fans of Sneaky Sasquatch have reason to be pleased, as the game has just received a special batch of new content. The title, available on Apple Arcade, has teamed up with Subway Surfers+, bringing signature elements of both games into a single world. Players can unlock new skins and boards and explore a modified level packed with nods to Sasquatch Valley. But that's only the start of the treats, because on 17 September a major update focused on birdwatching will arrive. The developers have also prepared birthday stickers so fans can celebrate another anniversary of the game in the Messages app.
Sneaky Sasquatch joins the world of Subway Surfers+
The Sneaky Sasquatch crossover with Subway Surfers+ is now available to Apple Arcade players. The special content will remain in the game until 7 October. During this period players can explore a modified level inspired by locations from Sasquatch Valley. The developers have prepared four new character skins that can be unlocked during the event, plus two exclusive hoverboards. The familiar golden coins have been replaced by raccoon-themed items. The security guard has also been updated and now wears a park ranger outfit. The whole event is designed to blend Subway Surfers' signature style with elements from Sneaky Sasquatch. The crossover is therefore more than just a change of a few items' appearances. Players receive a special version of the level that offers a fresh perspective on the familiar formula. The developers also say this collaboration is just one of the attractions they have prepared for fans. Sneaky Sasquatch will receive further updates in the coming months.
The new update will let you become a real birdwatcher
An even bigger update will arrive on 17 September and focus on birdwatching. More than 30 different species will appear in the world of Sneaky Sasquatch, which can be found while exploring. Players will be able to photograph the birds they encounter. The photos can then be submitted to a birdwatcher to add species to a dedicated database. You will also earn various rewards as you progress. However, simply finding the right bird won't be enough, as the quality of the photograph will also matter. The game will judge, among other things, the composition of the photo and how the observed bird is captured in the shot. Additional points can be earned for particularly rare species. Photographing a previously unrecorded bird will also be rewarded with a bonus. Players who manage to capture more than one bird in a single photo will receive even more points. The system is therefore designed to encourage careful exploration of the world and patient searching for the right opportunities. Alongside the new mechanic, 11 birthday stickers themed on Sneaky Sasquatch have been created. They can be used in the Messages app to celebrate another anniversary of the game in its distinctive style.
Sneaky Sasquatch has received another big content drop on Apple Arcade. First, players can try out a crossover with Subway Surfers+, and on 17 September the game will get a birdwatching update. More than 30 species can be photographed and logged, and players can earn rewards for them. The update is rounded off with new stickers for the Messages app. Apple Arcade is available for 34.99 zł per month, and the subscription gives access to the entire game catalogue for up to six family members.
