Sony has prepared another batch of games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The September Monthly Games line-up will include four titles spanning very different genres. Players will be able, among other things, to take part in wartime operations in "Sniper Elite: Resistance" and play another season of baseball in "MLB The Show 26". Fans looking for more relaxed play have "Wobbly Life", while lovers of classic Japanese RPGs will get "Chained Echoes". All the games can be claimed from Tuesday 1 September, and the offer will remain available until 5 October.
Sniper Elite, baseball and co‑op fun — September's lineup has a lot to offer
The best‑known offering in September's lineup may be "Sniper Elite: Resistance", which arrives on both PS5 and PS4. The game is set in occupied France, where players take part in a clandestine war played out away from the main front. The story runs parallel to the events of "Sniper Elite 5". A large part of the campaign can be played co‑operatively. The Axis Invasion mode also returns, allowing you to drop into another player's campaign as a German sniper. Gameplay focuses mainly on stealth, tactics and the series' signature sniper‑rifle shooting. Beyond the campaign there are also online matches for up to 16 players. In these, players can progress their character and earn experience, medals and awards. A Survival mode is also available, in which you can team up with up to three other players. The other big title in the lineup is "MLB The Show 26", available on PS5. The game features, among other things, an expanded Road To The Show mode and the ability to build your own team in Diamond Dynasty. PlayStation Plus will also provide its members with access to a special Jump Start Bundle containing additional packs and items.
Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes round out September's line-up
The third title is "Wobbly Life", which is coming to PS5 and PS4. The game lets players go it alone or join a group of up to four to explore an open world full of minigames, toys and hidden secrets. Play can take place online or on a single screen in local co-op. Players will also find story missions, puzzles and challenges that award additional rewards. The game world includes, among others, a tropical island, mountains and hidden caves. Those after less conventional gameplay can also try Arcade mode, which features Trash Zone, Hide & Seek, Wobble Run and Sandbox. The final offering is "Chained Echoes", a story-driven single-player JRPG available on PS4. The story centres on a group of heroes trying to end the war between three kingdoms on the continent of Valandis. The game world spans varied locations, from vast plateaus and archipelagos to sunken cities and forgotten dungeons. The whole is presented in the style of 16-bit RPGs, and during the adventure players can use not only swords and magic, but also powerful mechs.
The September PlayStation Plus line-up is truly diverse. Subscribers will receive "Sniper Elite: Resistance", "MLB The Show 26", "Wobbly Life" and "Chained Echoes". The games can be added to their library from 1 September to 5 October 2026. Before the September titles arrive on the service, remember the August line-up, which can only be claimed until 31 August.
