HP is expanding its range of office monitors with the Series 3 Pro 334wp G2 model. The device features a 34-inch curved screen with UWQHD resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a USB-C port capable of charging a laptop with up to 90 W. Overall, it is intended to be an affordable option for people working with multiple windows at the same time.
Curved screen and 120 Hz
HP Series 3 Pro 334wp G2 features a VA panel with a resolution of 3440 × 1440 pixels and a 21:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a 1500R curvature, a 3500:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 300 nits. The manufacturer also specifies a 5 ms GtG response time.
A refresh rate of up to 120 Hz is intended to provide smoother document scrolling and a more comfortable everyday experience. However, the monitor does not support HDR, so it is aimed primarily at office use rather than at demanding multimedia users.
USB-C 90 W and price
The device's biggest advantage is a USB-C port that supports video and data transmission and can power a laptop with up to 90 W. It also includes HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, three USB-A ports and two 5 W speakers.
The stand offers a height adjustment range of 100 mm, plus tilt and swivel of the screen. A VESA 100 × 100 mm mount is also supported.
The HP Series 3 Pro 334wp G2 has been priced in the US at $329. The manufacturer offers a three-year warranty but has not yet announced an official price or availability date for Poland.
