Microsoft has prepared a new offer for Xbox Game Pass subscribers as part of its Free Play Days programme. All weekend, players can try three different titles completely free, each representing a distinct genre. Among them is a popular home renovation simulator, a dark action game and a realistic racing simulator. It's another opportunity to test the full versions of the games before purchasing. Additionally, all the titles are available with limited-time discounts in the Xbox Store.
House Flipper 2, Blades of Fire and Assetto Corsa Competizione available free of charge
In the latest iteration of Free Play Days, Microsoft has made three titles available to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and Game Pass Essential. The event will run from 25 to 28 June, giving players a few days to try the full versions of the games. The first is House Flipper 2, an expanded home-renovation simulator. Players can buy dilapidated properties, renovate them, design their own interiors and sell them for a profit. The second offering is Blades of Fire, a dark action game from MercurySteam. The title emphasises demanding combat, a weapon-crafting system and an extensive story campaign. The developers recently released a major update labelled Version 2.0, which introduced, among other things, New Game Plus, Photo Mode and further gameplay improvements. The third title is Assetto Corsa Competizione, regarded as one of the most realistic racing simulators available on consoles. The game offers faithfully recreated cars, official circuits and a highly detailed driving model developed by Kunos Simulazioni. All three titles can be downloaded at no extra cost for a limited time. After the event ends, players will retain any achievements earned and saved progress should they choose to purchase the full game.
Free play and big discounts on selected titles
Microsoft has once again paired the Free Play Days event with sales in the Xbox Store. That means those who take a liking to the games on offer can buy them at reduced prices. The biggest discount went to Assetto Corsa Competizione, whose price was cut by as much as 75 per cent. Blades of Fire is also on sale, currently with a 25 per cent discount. House Flipper 2 remains at its standard price, but throughout the weekend you can try its full content without any restrictions. To take advantage of the offer you only need an active subscription to one of the qualifying Xbox Game Pass plans and to download the selected title from the Xbox Store. The Free Play Days programme has long been one of Microsoft's most popular initiatives, allowing players to regularly try new releases at no extra cost. Each month the line-up covers a range of genres, so there's something for everyone. The latest edition is no exception, bringing together a relaxed simulator, a fast-paced action game and realistic racing. It's a good opportunity to try new titles before deciding to buy.
Microsoft has launched another edition of Free Play Days, during which Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play House Flipper 2, Blades of Fire and Assetto Corsa Competizione for free. The event will run until 28 June, and selected games have additional promotions in the Xbox Store.
