Calendar 7/14/2026

Activision has revealed details of Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone. The update will roll out to players on 23 July and will significantly expand the content of both titles. Among the new additions are further multiplayer maps, new weapons, timed modes and additional content for the Zombies mode. The developers have also prepared changes for Warzone and a new Battle Pass. Season 5 promises to be one of the biggest updates in Black Ops 7's history.

New maps, weapons and modes are coming to Black Ops 7

The main attraction of the update will be new maps for multiplayer mode. A brand new map, Jubilee, set in a Japanese town during a local festival, will appear in the game. Refreshed versions of the maps Frequency and Dig from earlier entries will also return. Mid-season will bring an unusual map, Turbo Tilt, inspired by a pinball machine, as well as the obstacle course Freerun: Descent. Players will get two new time-limited game modes – Overdrive Domination and Gauntlet Rush. The popular Cranked Moshpit will also return. Activision has also confirmed the start of a new Ranked Play season with new ranking rewards. The Battle Pass will add the FG42 assault rifle and two Gremlin submachine guns for duo play. As part of seasonal events players can also earn the Mammoth machine gun and the Mace melee weapon. There will also be new Operator skins, weapon blueprints and extra rewards in the BlackCell edition. The new Battle Pass will feature the killer Spectre as its main Operator, and BlackCell owners will also receive the Operator Cipher. The update will also include new ability upgrades available in the Endgame campaign. The developers promise many special events throughout the season.

Warzone and Zombies will also receive a major injection of new content

Warzone will gain a new location on the Verdansk map called Drone Labs. The site will offer new loot, an obstacle course and the chance to obtain an armed JLTV. Also coming to the game is a new Killstreak, the HKDs, which uses combat drones, and the Quickdrop Kit item that shortens the time to return to the match after elimination. The ranked Resurgence mode will also return with new seasonal rewards. Zombies fans will get a new survival map, Eidskallen Lighthouse, as well as further Rogue Run variants. Mid-season will see the debut of a final round map and new equipment, including the Widow's Wine perk, an extra GobbleGum and two classic weapons. Activision is also expanding Directed Mode and further story-driven activities. All the new content will be available from 23 July, with some items arriving as part of a mid-season update. Season 5 will cover both Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone. The game is available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles.
