The premium television market has just been enriched by another highly exclusive offering. C Seed, in collaboration with Bugatti, has unveiled the Bugatti N1, which combines Micro-LED technology with luxurious design. The device is aimed at the wealthiest customers and stands out not only for its enormous screen but also for its automatically folding design. The manufacturer says the television can become a feature of the décor in the most exclusive residences. However, the price means it will remain a product available only to a select few. This is another example of how the ultra-premium TV segment continues to push the boundaries of technological capability.

Foldable Micro-LED display inspired by Bugatti supercars

The Bugatti N1 is offered in 110- and 137-inch versions and uses Micro-LED technology. When switched off it retracts into a dedicated housing, and it takes around 45 seconds to fully deploy. This is possible thanks to a modular screen construction made up of multiple smaller panels. The device's design was inspired by the styling of the Bugatti Tourbillon supercar, and it is constructed from aluminium and carbon fibre. Both variants offer 4K resolution and brightness of up to 1000 nits. The manufacturer has also fitted an integrated sound system, although the selection of ports is limited to the HDMI 2.0 standard. Previously, C Seed prepared a similar model bearing the Porsche name as well as larger versions intended even for installation on luxury yachts.

Price rivals sports cars, but Micro-LED is becoming more accessible

What is most striking, however, is the price of the new TV. The Bugatti N1 has been priced at a minimum of $400,000, which is equivalent to the value of many sports cars. That makes the device a product aimed at a very narrow group of buyers. At the same time, Micro-LED technology is gradually appearing in the line-ups of more traditional TV manufacturers. The solution is being developed by, among others, Samsung, Sony, LG, Hisense and TCL. In particular, TCL has recently significantly reduced the price of its 163-inch Micro-LED TV, cutting it from roughly $110,000 to $36,500. While these are still very high sums, they show that the technology is slowly becoming more widely available. For now, however, the Bugatti N1 remains primarily a showcase of what is possible and a symbol of luxury.

Bugatti N1 is one of the most exclusive televisions to reach the market. Its foldable design, Micro-LED screen and luxury materials come with a price tag of around US$400,000. Although the device will remain a niche product, it points to the future direction of premium TV technology.
