A new week means another batch of releases for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC owners. Microsoft has published a list of all the games that will be available for sale from June 15 to June 19. This time the list is exceptionally long and includes sports titles, strategy games, horror games, racing games, and classic platformers. There will also be new releases available from day one in the Game Pass service. The most interest is, of course, generated by the latest installment of the UFC series from Electronic Arts.
UFC 6 and Several Major Releases Attract Player Attention
The most significant release of the upcoming week will undoubtedly be EA Sports UFC 6, which will debut on June 19 exclusively on Xbox Series X|S. The creators promise the biggest technological advancement in the history of the series. New animation systems are set to replicate the movements of athletes even more realistically, and improved damage physics will make the battles more realistic than ever before. The game will also feature new career modes and additional narrative elements. Among the larger releases is The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales from Square Enix. This new title from the creators of Octopath Traveler utilises the popular HD-2D style. Strategy enthusiasts will receive R-Type Tactics I & II Cosmos, a refreshed set of two classic science fiction games. Copa City also looks promising, an unconventional city management simulator during major football events. Players will organise fan zones, transportation, and infrastructure for supporters of the world's biggest clubs. Racing fans might want to check out #Drive Rally, an arcade game inspired by the rallies of the 1990s. There will also be horror games, with the cooperative Backrooms: Escape Together set to release on June 18. This title is designed for up to six players and focuses on procedurally generated levels and a sense of unease. The coming days will reveal which of these releases will gain the most popularity within the Xbox community.
Game Pass and indie games are also set to impress
Next week will also feature a range of smaller games that may pleasantly surprise players. Particularly interesting is Junkster, a 3D platformer available from launch on Game Pass. Players will take on the role of a small construction robot that must use space debris to repair a damaged ship. Among the indie releases will be the narrative game Forgotlings, set in a world inhabited by forgotten objects trying to regain their significance. Puzzle game enthusiasts will receive titles like Find The Cats, Summer Seaside Search, and Word Search by JGABRIB. For platformer fans, there will be The Cub, inspired by classic hits from the Sega console era, as well as Loop Dash, a challenging game based on reflexes and precision. The list also includes Drug Dealer Simulator 2, which, following its success on PC, is making its way to Xbox consoles. The game will allow players to build their own criminal empire in an open world. Some players may also be interested in Kooeh: A Timeless Delight, a calming restaurant game inspired by Malaysian culture. Next week will also see action games, football quizzes, and classic shoot 'em ups. In total, Microsoft has announced over twenty releases in just a few days. This way, nearly everyone will find something they enjoy, regardless of their preferred genre.
The upcoming week will be very intense for Xbox console owners. The biggest release remains EA Sports UFC 6, but the list also includes new RPGs, strategies, horror games, and independent productions. An additional advantage is the presence of selected titles in Game Pass from the day of their debut. June looks set to be particularly interesting for players using the Microsoft ecosystem.
