Microsoft has unveiled the latest episode of its "Next Week on Xbox" series, showcasing all the games set to debut on Xbox consoles and PC at the turn of June and July. The week ahead looks particularly busy, with players getting more than twenty new releases spanning a wide range of genres. The premieres include both major franchises and numerous indie titles. There will also be new additions available on Xbox Game Pass. The start of July thus promises to be especially interesting for owners of Microsoft's consoles.
More than 20 premieres and new games on Xbox Game Pass
The biggest launch for Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be RV There Yet?, which debuts on 30 June and will be added straight to the service's library. It's a cooperative game in which players jointly drive a campervan along challenging routes and try to get home safely. A day earlier, on 29 June, Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains will launch, bringing the classic board-game experience into the Star Wars universe. Sports fans, meanwhile, will be able to start playing EA SPORTS College Football 27 as early as 2 July thanks to early access for owners of eligible editions of the game and subscribers to EA Play and Game Pass Ultimate. Other new releases include Deathbulge: Battle of the Bands, Murky Divers, Momento, Bunny Pit Stop: Vegas Rush and the platformer Clarity: The Seven Demons of Vanguardia. Microsoft has, as usual, leaned into a wide variety of genres. Players will find action games, RPGs, strategy titles, racing games, platformers, puzzle games and co-op-focused titles. Most of the new releases will be available both on Xbox Series X|S and on PC, and some will also offer Xbox Play Anywhere. That means progress can be continued across different devices.
The start of July will bring an unusually diverse set of releases
The second half of the week will also be very busy. 3 July will see, among others, the release of the adventure game Scholar Adventure: Mystery of Silence, inspired by classic 90s point-and-click titles. The same day will also bring Bone Marrow 2, Swamp TD 2, Tanky Tanks – Reloaded, The Legend of Fireball, In Fair Spirits, Independence Day Festive Finds and the fast-paced shooter Zaxoid. Earlier in the week players will also get Mayor May Knott, Tallowmere and the roguelike shooter HYPERWIRED. Such a large number of releases means there’s something to suit almost every preference. Microsoft has been keeping up a very high pace of new releases on its platform for months, regularly adding both big-budget productions and smaller indie titles. Some of them are added to Game Pass from day one, which further increases the appeal of the subscription. The coming week doesn’t bring major AAA launches, but makes up for it with a huge variety of genres and a large number of new titles. It’s further proof that the Xbox line-up continues to grow and regularly delivers fresh releases to players.
Microsoft announced more than 20 new games coming to Xbox consoles and PCs between 29 June and 3 July. Among the most notable releases were RV There Yet?, Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains and EA SPORTS College Football 27.
