Who records the meeting outcomes? BenQ wants to leave that task to the display. The CP05 series combines a 4K touchscreen with a video conferencing camera and a SummarAI feature that automatically prepares notes from discussions. Available in 55- and 75-inch models, there’s plenty of room for both presentations and collaborative brainstorming.
Inside there's equipment many tablets would be proud of: an octa-core ARM processor, 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and Android 15. The screen supports up to 50 touch points, so several people can work at the board at the same time. BenQ also claims 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space, and the colours are Pantone-validated. For video calls there's a 50 MP camera with smart framing. The active pen not only lets you write on the screen but also switch slides and launch selected tools.
Practical features will be appreciated by anyone who's ever started a meeting by hunting for the right cable. CP05 supports wireless screen sharing via AirPlay, Google Cast and Miracast, and you can log in to your account using NFC or a QR code. So you can run a presentation, talk with remote participants and manage shared notes all from one place.
Most interesting is SummarAI, a function that automatically prepares meeting notes. Instead of taking part in the discussion and writing down decisions at the same time, users will be able to leave that second task to BenQ's tool. SummarAI can be launched by a button on the active pen, so it's available even while working at the whiteboard. It's a feature that may prove more useful than anything else on a device of this kind.
