TCL launches its 2026 TV line-up. RGB LED and miniLED arrive in the new models

TCL has unveiled its full lineup of TVs for 2026 and begun selling them on world markets. The company is developing two key backlight technologies, RGB LED and SQD-miniLED, while also extending miniLED to considerably cheaper models. The new range also includes screens in impressive sizes, reaching up to 115 inches. The manufacturer expects that the new solutions will further strengthen its presence in the premium TV segment. This is another important step for the brand, which is currently the world's second-largest TV manufacturer.

RGB LED and miniLED drive TCL’s 2026 range

At the top of the new range is the TCL X11L, which uses SQD-miniLED technology. Just below it are the RM9L and RM7L models, which use modern RGB LED backlighting. The manufacturer has also prepared the C8L and C7L series, successors to last year’s C8K and C7K models. One of the biggest changes is the arrival of miniLED technology in more affordable TVs. For the first time it has also made its way into the P series, represented by the P8L. This means advanced backlighting will become available to a much larger number of viewers. All the new TVs run on Google TV. Depending on the model, screen sizes range from 43 to 115 inches. TCL continues its strategy of developing LCD TVs and has not yet launched its own OLED TVs. However, the company is building a new OLED factory that will initially produce smaller panels for other devices. The new lineup shows that TCL continues to invest heavily in LCD technology.

Televisions are already available in many markets

The new TCL 2026 series is already on sale in North America, Europe and other global markets. Initially prices remain relatively high, but the manufacturer expects them to fall gradually over the coming months. In previous years discounts on TCL models have often exceeded 50 percent. As a result, the brand's TVs regularly rank among the best-value options in their price segments. TCL also emphasises its strong market position, currently the world's second-largest TV maker. The company continues to expand its range of very large-screen TVs, responding to growing interest in 98- and 115-inch models. In the coming months the range will gradually become available through additional retailers. The manufacturer hopes the new models will further increase its share of the global TV market. Models with RGB LED technology and the increasingly available miniLED TVs are expected to be particularly important. These are the models TCL is basing its strategy on for the coming year.
