TCL dominates the Mini LED and large-screen TV segments
According to the latest market data, TCL has retained its position as the world’s largest producer of Mini LED TVs. During 2025 the company delivered nearly four million devices using this technology, giving it a global market share of over 31 per cent. This is the second year in a row the manufacturer has finished first in this category. Mini LED is now one of the key directions in premium TV development, because it delivers significantly better contrast, higher brightness and more precise backlight control. TCL has long invested in the development of this solution and was one of the first companies to bring such TVs to market on a large scale. The brand is also performing strongly in the large-screen segment. 75-inch and larger TVs are attracting growing interest from customers who want to recreate a cinema experience at home. In this category TCL has remained the world leader for the third year running. In 2025 the company sold almost five million of these units. This shows that demand for large TVs is not diminishing, and consumers are increasingly choosing bigger screen sizes over traditional models. The rise of streaming services, high-quality sports broadcasts and modern consoles means large screens are becoming the natural choice for many people.
Google TV drives record results for TCL worldwide
One of the company's most impressive achievements is the growth of its Google TV-equipped TV segment. TCL has held the position of global leader in this category continuously since 2021. In just five years the number of units shipped rose from about 3.6 million to almost 20 million per year, representing nearly a fivefold increase. This success is no accident. Google TV is now one of the most popular Smart TV platforms in the world and offers access to thousands of apps, streaming services and features tied into the Google ecosystem. For years TCL has been deepening its collaboration with the US tech giant, integrating the platform with its own picture and sound solutions. As a result, users receive not only modern Smart TV features but also advanced display technologies. The manufacturer also emphasises its plans to roll out SQD-Mini LED TVs to further regions around the world. The company also intends to use its role as a partner of the Olympic and Paralympic movements to promote new solutions. TCL wants to show how modern technologies can improve the viewing experience of sporting events and everyday entertainment. Everything suggests the brand will not slow down and will keep fighting to further strengthen its position in the TV market in the coming years.
