Fans of Sneaky Sasquatch have reason to celebrate, because the game has just received a special batch of new content. The Apple Arcade title has teamed up with Subway Surfers+, bringing signature elements from both games into a single world. Players can unlock new skins and boards and try out a modified level full of nods to Sasquatch Valley. But that’s just the start of the fun, because a major update devoted to birdwatching will arrive on 17 September. The developers have also prepared birthday stickers so fans can celebrate another anniversary of the game in the Messages app.
Sneaky Sasquatch steps into the world of Subway Surfers+
The Sneaky Sasquatch and Subway Surfers+ crossover is now available to Apple Arcade players. The special content will remain in the game until 7 October. During that time players can try a modified level inspired by locations from Sasquatch Valley. The developers have added four new character skins that can be unlocked during the event. There are also two unique hoverboards. The signature gold coins have been replaced with items bearing a raccoon motif. The guard has also been updated and now wears a park ranger outfit. Everything has been designed to blend Subway Surfers' distinctive style with elements familiar from Sneaky Sasquatch. The crossover is therefore more than just a reskin of a few items. Players get a special version of the level that lets them see the familiar formula from a completely different perspective. The developers say this collaboration is just one of several treats lined up for fans. Sneaky Sasquatch will be receiving further updates in the months ahead.
The new update will let you become a real birdwatcher
An even bigger update arrives on 17 September and will focus on birdwatching. More than 30 different species will appear in the world of Sneaky Sasquatch, which can be discovered while exploring. Players will have the opportunity to photograph birds they encounter. Photos can then be submitted to a birdwatcher to add additional species to a special database. You can also earn various rewards as you progress. Simply finding the right animal won't be enough, because the quality of the photograph will also matter. The game will assess, among other things, the composition of the shot and how the observed bird is captured. Extra points can be earned for particularly rare species. Photographing a bird that hasn't been recorded before will also be rewarded with a bonus. Players who manage to capture more than one bird in a single photo will receive even more points. The system is designed to encourage careful exploration of the world and patient searching for the right opportunities. In addition to the new mechanic, 11 birthday stickers related to Sneaky Sasquatch have been prepared. They can be used in the Messages app to mark another anniversary of the game in its distinctive style.
Sneaky Sasquatch has received another large content update on Apple Arcade. First, players can try a crossover with Subway Surfers+, and on 17 September the game will get a birdwatching update. More than 30 species can be photographed and recorded, with rewards available for them. The update is rounded out by new stickers for the Messages app. Apple Arcade is available for PLN 34.99 per month, and the subscription provides access to the entire game catalogue for up to six family members.
