The published list of official prices shows that the standard edition of GTA 6 costs 349 zł in Poland, which is roughly US$92.30. That result places Poland 5th among the world’s most expensive markets. Only Israel, Hungary, Switzerland and the Czech Republic rank higher. By comparison, players in the United States will pay US$79.99 for the base version, while in South Korea the equivalent is just around US$58, making that country the cheapest among those included in the list. The differences are therefore very clear and show that a game’s price depends not only on exchange rates but also on the publisher’s local pricing policy. The situation is similar for the Ultimate edition. Poland, at 429 zł, sits 9th in the ranking of the most expensive countries. The highest prices for the most feature-packed version go to residents of Israel, Hungary and Switzerland. The comparison also shows that many Western European countries offer prices very close to Poland’s, despite higher average earnings. That aspect is currently causing the most controversy among players. Many users point out that actual purchasing power in Poland is significantly lower than in many of the countries alongside us in the ranking.
