The market for portable gaming computers is developing at a rapid pace. MSI intends to take it a step further and is preparing the Claw 8 EX AI+ model, which aims to offer absolutely top-notch components. According to information published by overseas stores, the new MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ is set to cost around $1699. In some offers, the manufacturer prices the device even at $1799. This means it will be one of the most expensive handhelds available on the market. However, the hardware is expected to offer a very strong configuration. It will feature the latest Intel Arc G3 Extreme graphics architecture, 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory, and a 1 TB SSD. The manufacturer also focuses on an 8-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which should provide a smooth image during gameplay.
It will also include an 80 Wh battery, analog sticks and triggers using Hall Effect technology, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. MSI hopes that with the new generation of Intel chips, the device will offer a noticeable performance jump compared to current handhelds.
