A new survey conducted by Spawn Wave gathered over 18,000 votes and yielded very surprising results. A total of 43 percent of participants declared that they plan to buy Halo Campaign Evolved on PlayStation 5. Second place went to PC with a score of 31 percent. The least votes were garnered by Xbox Series consoles. The results immediately sparked huge discussions among gamers, as Halo has always been primarily associated with the Xbox brand. For some fans, it's a sign that Microsoft is increasingly moving away from treating exclusivity as a priority.
Microsoft could completely change the future of the Halo series
Information has already emerged that Microsoft is working on more remakes of games from the Halo series. If the first project is successful on PlayStation, the subsequent installments could further develop on Sony platforms. Some players have even joked that PlayStation might become the new home for Halo. However, the series has struggled with issues and weaker reception of its recent releases for years.
