The Danish company Canvas HiFi has unveiled a new version of its unusual audio system designed for televisions. The Canvas L model is larger, more powerful, and significantly more expensive than its predecessor. The manufacturer claims to have created a device that combines the quality of classic Hi-Fi equipment with the convenience of a soundbar mounted underneath the television. This new model has been designed with the largest screens available on the market in mind. The system can work with televisions with a diagonal of up to 115 inches. Canvas is clearly targeting the premium segment and customers looking for both high-quality sound and elegant design.

ChooseTV L offers 1500 W of power and support for massive televisions

ChooseTV L has been equipped with a completely redesigned speaker layout. The manufacturer has used larger woofers, an additional passive radiator, and a new 3-inch midrange speaker. The entire system offers a peak power output of up to 1500 W. ChooseTV L is also larger than its predecessor and can be mounted under televisions ranging from 65 to even 115 inches. The company has prepared special magnetic covers tailored to the width of the largest screens. According to the manufacturer, the device is designed to deliver the scale and precision known from high-end Hi-Fi systems while maintaining the minimalist appearance characteristic of modern televisions.

This is one of the most expensive soundbars on the market

The Canvas L supports HDMI eARC, Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, DLNA, and Roon, among others. It also features the Bacch 3D system responsible for virtualising surround sound. The manufacturer has also added new ports, including Ethernet, RCA, and a digital coaxial input. However, the price is what really catches the eye. The basic version of the set costs around 6000 euros, which places the Canvas L significantly above most soundbars from Samsung, LG, Sony, or Sennheiser. The company aims to compete primarily with premium brands like Bang & Olufsen and targets the most demanding users.
