Bonfire Studios has officially launched closed beta tests for its first game, Arkheron. The title has been made available to participants of the Xbox Insider programme on Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PCs. The developers stress that the current build is a technical test, so players may encounter bugs and frequent updates. The beta will run until 27 July, and its main goal is to test the servers and gather community feedback. The studio is counting on active player participation in developing the project. They also showcased the main game modes and a rewards system prepared specifically for the test period.
Dynamic, classless combat and two main game modes
Arkheron is a fast-paced PvP game where three-player teams compete. Instead of a traditional class system, players develop their characters by acquiring and combining items during a match. Equipment determines playstyle and the role a player fulfils in their team. In the closed beta, Spires is available, offering quick 3v3 clashes that let you test different equipment setups and hone teamwork. The other mode is Ascension, focused on more competitive gameplay. It features 15 three-player teams that explore a larger map, collect equipment, and gradually climb to the top of a mysterious tower. Each match culminates in a decisive 3v3 showdown. Ascension will be available only during selected hours on weekends.
Beta oferuje ekskluzywne nagrody i pomaga twórcom rozwijać grę
During closed beta tests, players can earn special cosmetic items available only in this stage of development. By carrying out activities such as opening chests, defeating foes, completing challenges or climbing the tower, participants receive Pages. The accumulated currency lets you unlock unique items from the Prestige series, which will remain tied to the account even after the beta ends. To take part in the event, you need to join the Xbox Insider program and download the test build of the game through the Xbox Insider Hub app. Bonfire Studio also encourages players to submit feedback on the official Arkheron forum. Player input is intended to help fine‑tune the combat system, controls, matchmaking, performance and the overall gameplay balance. This will allow the developers to prepare the best possible version of the game before its launch.
Arkheron has started closed beta testing and is inviting users of the Xbox Insider program to take part. The title offers dynamic PvP battles, an unconventional item-based progression system and the chance to earn exclusive cosmetic rewards. For Bonfire studio, this is an important step in preparations ahead of the game's full release.
