Kingdom Come: Deliverance received a new patch that may not add fresh content, but does something equally important, addressing technical issues and improving the overall quality of gameplay. The developers focused mainly on stability, as crashes and various errors were one of the biggest downsides of the game.

Changes on PC

Several specific issues that could be annoying during regular gameplay have been fixed on computers. The game should no longer freeze when using the delete key in the menu, and a bug related to transferring items to a new game has been removed. The functioning of sound add-ons has also been refined, which previously could fail to load correctly. In the version from the Microsoft Store, it is finally possible to use DLC even without the internet, which was a significant limitation before. Additionally, there are new language localizations and an update to version 1.9.7.

Consoles Run More Stably

On consoles, the patches are even more noticeable. The developers have fixed many crashes related to memory, sound, and synchronization, so the game should run much more smoothly. This is not just one specific change, but rather a whole set of improvements that together make a big difference.

On PlayStation 5, the long-awaited option to transfer trophies from PlayStation 4 has appeared. However, it does not work perfectly one-to-one because the system is based on game saves and current conditions. In practice, this means that some achievements will unlock after loading a save, but others may be skipped if their conditions are no longer met. On Xbox, the focus was mainly on system stability. The game freezing when putting the console to sleep has been fixed, as well as the crash problem when canceling cloud synchronization.

This is an update that doesn't make a splash with new content but really improves the gaming experience. Fewer bugs and better stability are something that truly makes a difference in the case of Kingdom Come.
