Philips expands its lineup with two affordable monitors that should appeal to both gamers and users looking for a display for everyday work. The 27E3C2500 and 32E3C2500 models feature curved VA panels, QHD resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. Prices in Poland start at just 649 zł.

Two sizes, the same resolution

The new Philips monitors feature VA panels in 27- and 31.5-inch sizes, a 1500R curvature and a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. Both offer a 144 Hz refresh rate, Adaptive-Sync and a claimed 0.5 ms MPRT response time, achieved in a special blur-reduction mode. The standard response time is 4 ms GtG.

The manufacturer specifies a brightness of 300 nits and HDR10 support, though with those specs you should not expect particularly impressive HDR. The smaller model offers a 4000:1 contrast ratio and 95.62% DCI-P3 coverage, while the larger one offers 3000:1 and 83.44%.

HDMI 2.1 and Polish prices

The set includes HDMI 2.1 (TMDS), DisplayPort 1.4, a headphone jack, and two 2 W speakers. It also features SoftBlue and Flicker-Free technologies. One limitation is the stand, which only allows tilt adjustment, but the monitors support VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting.

The Philips 27E3C2500 will go on sale in Poland in October with a suggested price of PLN 649. The larger 32E3C2500 will arrive in November and will cost PLN 829.

These models are aimed primarily at people looking for a versatile monitor for work, movies, and occasional gaming without spending a lot of money.
