Spotify has just arrived on millions of TVs. The app is now available on most models running the Whale TV system. Users can log in and enjoy music and podcasts on the big screen.
Whale TV announced on September 22 that it has made the Spotify app available on most TVs running its platform. The app can be found in the app store, then just sign in to your account and you're all set. This is a handy addition because the streaming service supports video podcasts and music videos.
The system runs on more than 47 million active TVs each month. Whale TV works with around 400 brands worldwide, including Philips, JVC and Blaupunkt. In Poland, the system is available mainly on budget TVs sold in popular hypermarkets.
The company didn’t provide a list of TVs compatible with the update. If you have a TV running Whale TV, it’s worth checking your TV’s app store to see if Spotify is available.
