Saros showcases the full potential of PS5 Pro and looks like one of the most polished titles of the generation.

Calendar 4/19/2026

A new production from Housemarque, titled Saros, is set to be one of the first titles that will truly showcase what PlayStation 5 Pro is capable of. The creators clearly state that the goal was to squeeze the maximum out of the hardware and create an experience that stands out from the current generation.

Better image quality and stable 60 FPS

The biggest changes concern the graphics. Thanks to the improved PSSR image scaling system, the game offers quality very close to native 4K while maintaining fluidity at 60 frames per second. Importantly, the PS5 Pro renders the image at a higher resolution already at the base stage, resulting in a sharper and more detailed image. In practice, this means not only more pixels but also improved reflections, lighting, and overall scene quality. The standard PlayStation 5 also performs very well, but the Pro version clearly raises the bar.

Immersion at a New Level

Saros is also developing elements that Sony has strongly promoted since the release of the PS5. This concerns 3D audio based on Tempest Audio and the capabilities of the DualSense controller. Adaptive triggers allow for different shooting modes depending on the pressure applied, and haptics are designed to convey events on the screen even better. All of this makes combat more dynamic and "physical."

Speed and Fluidity of Gameplay

Thanks to the fast SSD, respawns after death are virtually instantaneous. This is especially important in a production that emphasizes intense action and frequent respawns. The creators also emphasize that the game will dynamically change as gameplay progresses, which is intended to increase replayability and ensure that each session will be slightly different.

Saros is set to be a showcase of PS5 Pro capabilities: better graphics, greater immersion, and fast gameplay, which is everything expected from a new generation.
