Samsung Electronics Poland and Archicom signed a new letter of intent that expands the existing cooperation initiated with Echo Investment. This move connects the world of advanced technology with the premium real estate segment – and realistically shows how Samsung's SmartThings ecosystem is starting to penetrate the daily lives of residents in new developments.
The agreement includes the joint development of projects under the brand Archicom Collection, including flagship investments Guttenberg Apartments and M7 in Warsaw. This time, the cooperation will not be limited to supplying RTV or household appliances – it will also involve implementing smart IoT systems, solutions in the area of air conditioning, mobility, and even cybersecurity. In other words: a full integration of the building with the digital world.
Joint Innovation Lab
The new stage of collaboration involves more than just furnishing apartments. Samsung and Archicom want to design, test, and certify new services that could become standard in future developments. This includes research on residents' needs, creating joint workshops and training programs, as well as integrating marketing activities – both online and in the context of joint industry events.
– “For years, we have been developing the Samsung SmartThings ecosystem, which allows for the integration of devices and services within a single system. The partnership with Archicom opens up new opportunities for us – our technologies will become an integral part of residential investments, and the comfort of everyday life for residents will gain a new dimension.” – comments Conor Pierce, CEO of Samsung Electronics Poland.
On the other hand, Dawid Wrona, COO of Archicom, emphasizes that collaboration with Samsung is a natural step in the development of the premium brand:
– “The Archicom Collection brand has always prioritized quality and innovation. With Samsung's support, we can implement projects that combine design, technology, and energy efficiency in one – truly enhancing the comfort and safety of residents.”
Continuation of collaboration from years ago
The first letter of intent was signed by Samsung back in 2016 with Echo Investment. After separating Archicom as an independent residential company, the collaboration was naturally transferred to this entity – now directly.
The new agreement will be in effect for 24 months, covering not only technological issues but also joint business projects. Both companies declare that their goal is creating new standards for smart housing, where safety, energy efficiency, and technology go hand in hand with the architecture of the future.
