Pusheen, one of the most recognizable internet cats, will get her own officially licensed game. Pusheen’s Place will debut on October 1, 2026, and will be available exclusively on Apple Arcade. The game will allow players to create a cozy space for more than 100 cats and take care of their daily entertainment. On the same day, the service’s catalog will expand with several other interesting titles, including River City Survivors and Terraria+. So Apple has put together for early October a lineup of games aimed at both fans of relaxed play and those who prefer more dynamic gameplay.
Pusheen’s Place will let you create your own cat paradise
Pusheen’s Place is the first officially licensed game to use the character of the popular cat. The game was developed by studio Lively, which created a title focused primarily on calm, relaxing gameplay. Players will be able to create their own cozy Pusheen world. One of the main gameplay elements will be caring for over 100 adorable cats. There will also be options to furnish and decorate rooms however you like. Available characters will include Pusheenicorn and Pancake Pusheen, among others. So the game will let you not only care for the cats but also develop their surroundings. The creators also prepared a set of mini-games that complement the main gameplay. These include Snack Stack, Parfait Pop, and Batch Match. Pusheen’s Place thus joins the relaxing titles available on Apple Arcade, such as Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom, and Cozy Caravan. The game will be available from day one exclusively to Apple Arcade subscribers. The title may especially appeal to players seeking a relaxing game focused on collecting, decorating, and caring for virtual cats. Its release will also mark Pusheen’s first official appearance in a standalone licensed game.
River City Survivors and more games are coming to Apple Arcade
On October 1, alongside Pusheen’s Place, Apple Arcade will get River City Survivors from Arc System Works. It’s a fast-paced survivors-style action game set in the world known from the long-running River City series. Players will face wave after wave of zombies, using special attacks and random upgrades. More than 20 playable characters will be available, including Kunio and Riki. During gameplay you can also recruit up to two companions and build your own team. On the same day Apple Arcade will also receive Terraria+, a version of the popular sandbox game prepared by 505 Games. The title lets you fight, explore, and build in a constantly expanding world. The version available on the service will include update 1.4.5 "Bigger & Boulder", featuring, among other things, a crossover with Dead Cells and elements related to Palworld. Terraria+ will also support co-op with up to seven friends via Game Center or local Wi-Fi. The catalog will be rounded out by Touchgrind BMX 2+ from Illusion Labs and 4 Pics 1 Word+, special versions of popular games made for Apple Arcade.
