PS5 Pro and PSSR 2.0 list of games that already support the new technology and those that can be upgraded with one click.

The new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution technology version 2.0 is already working on PlayStation 5 Pro, and more and more games are starting to take advantage of it. This AI upscaling is similar to DLSS, which allows for sharper images and better performance without native rendering in 4K. The most important thing is that some games have full support for PSSR 2.0, while others can be systemically upgraded from version 1.0 with a single switch in the settings.

Games with native PSSR 2.0 support show the greatest leap in image quality and stability

The list of games with full support includes titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It is in these titles that the biggest differences can be seen better sharpness, less flickering of details, and a more stable image in motion. PSSR 2.0 addresses the major issues of the first version, such as shimmering or graininess, and in some cases begins to approach the quality known from PC, e.g., DLSS technology.

Hundreds of games can be upgraded to PSSR 2.0 with one setting, but the effects may vary

The second group is a huge list of games from PSSR 1.0, such as Baldur's Gate 3, Hogwarts Legacy, or Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which can be automatically boosted to version 2.0 thanks to the system option. It’s a convenient solution, but Sony points out that in some cases artifacts may occur, so it's worth testing the settings. Despite this, it’s a huge advantage – one option provides access to better image quality in dozens of games without waiting for updates from developers.

PSSR 2.0 is one of the biggest upgrades for PS5 Pro. Better image quality, greater stability, and the ability to upgrade hundreds of games with one click make a huge difference.
