Xbox has released a list of games that will debut between September 7 and 11, 2026. Over the next few days, titles coming to Xbox consoles and PC include NHL 27, Halloween: The Game, Mewgenics, and HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush. One of the more interesting releases for Game Pass subscribers will be The Royal Writ, a strategy card game with deck-building elements. The lineup includes a total of 21 titles representing a wide range of genres. Players can expect both major franchises and smaller indie games.
NHL 27, Halloween: The Game and Mewgenics are the week’s biggest releases
The week kicks off with the release of NHL 27 on Xbox Series X|S, scheduled for September 11. The new Electronic Arts entry aims to better capture the character of all 32 NHL teams thanks to refreshed arena presentation. The game will include, among other things, authentic goal songs, new pregame presentations and a revamped crowd atmosphere. On September 10, The Royal Writ will debut on Game Pass, combining strategic unit placement with deckbuilding mechanics. Cards representing followers move across the battlefield toward the opponent’s base, and those that reach it before victory are permanently removed from the deck for that run. On September 8, Halloween: The Game arrives on Xbox Series X|S, an asymmetric horror set during events from 1978. Players can take on the role of Michael Myers or one of the characters trying to save the residents of Haddonfield. As Michael you must use stealth, shadows and special abilities, while the residents can call the police and try to defend themselves. That same day sees the debut of Mewgenics, a tactical roguelike from the creators of The Binding of Isaac and The End is Nigh. Players will build their own cat army, using breeding, genetics, abilities and items during turn-based expeditions. September 8 also brings Bus Simulator 27, offering more than 45 licensed buses from 13 manufacturers. For the first time in the series it will include long-distance coaches alongside standard, articulated, double-decker and electric vehicles. That day Xbox will also get Culdcept The First Saturn Tribute, the first chance to play the original Culdcept outside Japan. The 1997 title mixes a digital board game with deckbuilding. Players can also try the puzzle game Hole in Many, where you must plan piece movements and make successive “shots” like in golf. On September 8 Honeycomb: The World Beyond debuts, letting players explore the planet Sota7, apply bioengineering knowledge and search for a way to ensure humanity’s survival.

On September 9 on Xbox Series X|S and PC HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush will arrive, offering four open islands for free exploration. Each island has its own challenges and a Rush Master you must defeat to win their car and title. On September 9 Barbarian Saga: The Beastmaster will also launch, an action-packed Metroidvania set in a sword-and-sorcery world. That same day Cats Around Us: Black Cat and Jewel Match Solitaire X will debut. In the first, the task is to find hidden cats on the pages of a silent comic story, while the second offers more than 500 levels of card-based gameplay. On September 10 The Alighieri Circle: Dante's Bloodline will join the lineup, a first-person psychological thriller inspired by the Divine Comedy. Players take on the role of Gabriele Alighieri, who must confront his family legacy and events tied to the returning boundary between the human world and Hell. BrokenLore: DON'T LIE will be a Japanese psychological horror focused on trauma, isolation and an increasingly uncertain reality. On September 10 Deconstruction Simulator will also debut, where players will fulfill contracts to dismantle and demolish buildings, recover materials and sell valuable items. Coop fans will get Dumb Ways to Build, a physics-based co-op game for teams tackling extremely hazardous construction jobs. Fresh Tracks will combine skiing with action and fantasy elements, letting players traverse the snowy landscapes of Norwyn. In Lost in Loss players become a detective investigating residents who start losing memories tied to their own identities. Mole Mine Boom will be another logic title in which you direct carts carrying ore and use explosives to open new paths. RIN: The Last Child will offer an RPG adventure in a world inspired by ancient myths, with spell crafting, rune collecting and boss fights. On September 10 Warshift 2: Machines of Madness will also arrive, blending strategy, action and RPG and letting you manage a base, squads, mechs, ships and heroes. The week wraps up on September 11 with Dino Odyssey, Dominus Mahjong Arcana and Liquid Cats, offering respectively a dinosaur adventure, a relaxing mahjong puzzle and a simple logic game featuring a stretchy cat.
From September 7 to 11, as many as 21 new games will arrive on Xbox. The biggest releases include NHL 27, Halloween: The Game, Mewgenics, and HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush, while Game Pass subscribers will get The Royal Writ. The lineup also includes horror games, simulators, RPGs, puzzle games, and co-op titles. The full list shows that Xbox users will have a very diverse set of new releases to choose from this week.
