The contest task is relatively simple. Participants must create a structure or house that fits one of four biomes: plains, taiga, badlands, or frozen ocean. The challenge is that the construction must fit in a space of just 16 × 16 × 32 blocks. All participants receive an identical set of blocks and the same starting conditions. The organizers emphasize that creativity and the skillful use of available resources are what counts most. The best work may be placed directly in the film A Minecraft Movie Squared or in its credits.

Awards for the Finalists

The competition is divided into several stages. First, 15 semifinalists will be selected, who will receive movie tickets. Then, three finalists will be awarded a private screening of the film. The ultimate winner will gain both tickets, a private screening, and the opportunity to see their building on the big screen. Submissions can be sent from May 30 to June 8, 2026. To participate, you need to prepare a short video showcasing the building and a screenshot showing its front.
