LG expands its offer of monitors for gamers with another advanced OLED model. The new UltraGear 34GX90SB-W combines a high refresh rate, a curved ultra-wide screen, and features known from Smart TV televisions. Thanks to the webOS system, users can watch movies, use streaming applications, and launch cloud games even without a computer or console.

OLED 240 Hz for Demanding Gamers

The new monitor features a 34-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 3440 × 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:9. The manufacturer has implemented Micro Lens Array Plus (MLA+) technology, which improves backlight efficiency and allows for higher image brightness. The device offers a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of just 0.03 ms, which should particularly attract fans of fast-paced online games. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, and VESA AdaptiveSync. The monitor meets the requirements of the DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, and the color space coverage of DCI-P3 is said to reach 98.5%.

Monitor that works without a computer

The most interesting feature of the new UltraGear may be the presence of the webOS system. Thanks to it, the monitor operates similarly to a Smart TV. Once connected to the internet, users can launch applications such as Netflix or YouTube without the need for additional devices. LG also allows gaming through cloud services, including Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce NOW, and Amazon Luna. Among the features are USB-C with 65 W charging, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, a LAN port, and a Wi-Fi module. The monitor also has built-in stereo speakers supported by an AI processor responsible for optimizing image and sound.
