The Chinese brand JMGO has officially presented its new projector O2S Ultra, described as the “smallest laser TV in the world” – and indeed, its specifications are impressive. The manufacturer claims it is the projector with the shortest throw ratio on the market, measuring just 0.16:1.
What does this mean in practice? The device can project a 100-inch image from just 6.6 inches (about 17 cm) away from the wall or screen. And if you move it a bit further away – you can achieve even 150 inches.
Brightness, colors, and image technology
Under the hood is a triple-laser MALC 3.0 system, offering brightness of 3600 ISO lumens. Colors? Impressively wide coverage of 110% of the BT.2020 color space, native contrast of 4000:1, and dynamic up to 3,000,000:1. JMGO promises that every color is reproduced with maximum precision – even in a well-lit room.
The projector supports 4K resolution and HDR10, and the smart system is powered by Google TV. So we have access to a full suite of apps – Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and Hulu are available right upon startup.
For Gamers and Movie Lovers
Two HDMI 2.1 ports allow you to connect consoles or media players. One of them supports eARC, so you can easily connect a soundbar or receiver. The low latency mode is perfect for gaming in 4K.
For those who prefer a ready-made audio solution – it features Dynaudio speakers 2×20 W with support for Dolby Audio and DTS HD.
Smart features
The setup is fully automatic: autofocus, keystone correction, fit-to-screen and special software that can correct the image even on uneven surfaces. The Bluetooth remote responds to voice commands and allows you to control playback.

The projector is available for pre-order in the American and Canadian markets, with a global launch expected shortly after.
