BenQ introduces a new model of portable projector – GV32. The device features a rotating body that allows for projecting images not only on walls but also on ceilings. This solution makes the projector perfectly fit the trend of "laid-back home entertainment."
Image up to 120 inches and HDR
The GV32 can display an image with a diagonal of up to 120 inches. Its brightness reaches 500 ANSI lumens, making it best suited for evening screenings, although it will also perform well during the day with good dimming.
Resolution: Full HD (1080p)
Colors: Rec.709 – 95% coverage
HDR Support: HDR10 and HLG
There's no 4K, but HDR and solid color reproduction should give the image the appropriate depth and contrast.
Easy setup and built-in sound
The adjustable design of the GV32 makes it much easier to set up the image. On board we find:
automatic image correction,
digital zoom,
keystone correction.
The sound is provided by two 5 W speakers (a total of 10 W), which is sufficient for everyday use without an additional soundbar.
Google TV and Connectivity
The projector runs on the Google TV system, so you can easily watch Netflix, Prime Video, or Disney+. In addition, we have:
HDMI (e.g., for Nintendo Switch),
USB-A and USB-C,
power supply from a power bank,
the option to charge other devices (e.g., smartphones).
Price and Availability
The BenQ GV32 will replace the older model GV31, which is gradually disappearing from the market. The new projector will go on sale later this month.
