Apple Arcade is preparing another major update to its catalog, this time aimed mainly at fans of puzzle games. On September 3, Block Blast!+ and Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles+ will join the service. The first title is an extremely popular puzzle game that will arrive on Arcade without ads or in-app purchases. The second focuses on calmer, more relaxing gameplay combined with themes of nature and environmental conservation. Apple also announces further updates to existing games and upcoming releases, making this fall look especially interesting for Arcade users.
Block Blast!+ arrives on Apple Arcade
Block Blast!+ is a game created by Hungry Studio that has become hugely popular thanks to very simple rules and gameplay that’s easy to get hooked on. The player’s task is to arrange colorful blocks on the board so they form complete rows and columns. Clearing them scores points and makes room for new pieces. The mechanics are ridiculously easy to master, but over time require increasingly more planning of future moves. The game is great both for a short break and for a longer session. The version marked with a “+” will arrive on Apple Arcade on September 3. The biggest change compared to the standard release will be no ads. Users of the service also won’t have to worry about in-app purchases. That means the entire game will be available through the Arcade subscription. Block Blast!+ will thus join other popular puzzle games on the service, such as Grindstone, Flow Free+ and Crossword Jam+. For people looking for a simple but engrossing logic game, this will be another appealing option.
Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles+ focuses on relaxation and nature
The second new release is Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles+, a much calmer option aimed at players who prefer relaxing play over competition. The game was created by Klemens Strasser and won an App Store Award 2025 in the "Cultural Impact" category. Players get puzzles that let them create colorful images inspired by the natural world. The gameplay is designed to be soothing, meditative, and accessible to a wide audience. The developers also implemented accessibility features so more people can enjoy the experience.
