AOC is adding a new ultrawide monitor to its lineup – the AGP346UCSD model (not to be confused with AG346UCD) from the AGON PRO series. The device features the latest generation QD-OLED panel with a diagonal of 34 inches, offering a refresh rate of 360 Hz. This is a significant change in the 21:9 segment, where until now, lower values were the market standard. The monitor is equipped with DisplayPort 2.1 connections and features that facilitate work on multiple devices simultaneously, such as a built-in KVM switch.
New QD-OLED V-STRIPE Panel
The used panel has a resolution of 3440 x 1440 px and a curvature of 1800R. It utilizes the fourth generation of QD-OLED technology with a V-Stripe RGB subpixel layout, which improves font readability and edge sharpness compared to older QD-OLED designs with a triangular subpixel arrangement. The response time of the panel is 0.03 ms (GtG), and the peak brightness in HDR mode reaches 1300 nits (with 3% APL area).
The monitor has a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and provides 99 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The manufacturer claims factory calibration at a Delta E of < 1, which is an absolutely phenomenal result.
DisplayPort 2.1 Connectivity and Additional Features
In the connector section, we find DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1. There is also a USB-C port with DP Alt mode, which allows for image transmission from a laptop while simultaneously charging (or rather battery sustaining) with a power of 15W. Thanks to the KVM function and USB 3.2 hub, the user can control two computers using one mouse and keyboard.
The monitor's casing, awarded the Red Dot distinction, features Light FX backlighting and an ergonomic base with a height adjustment range of 150 mm. AOC also added gaming-specific features such as a frame rate counter, on-screen crosshair, and a mode that improves visibility in dark areas (Shadow Control). Inside the device, two speakers with a power of 8W each are installed.
What is the price?
The AGP346UCSD monitor has not been priced yet. However, it is assumed that it will cost around 1050-1300 USD (approximately 5000 PLN including VAT) during the premiere. Currently, the product is appearing in the manufacturer's official catalogs and will first be available for sale in Asia. The equipment should be available in Polish distribution in the near future.
