Xiaomi has launched the new Redmi G25 2027 gaming monitor on the Chinese market. The device features a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel, Full HD resolution and a native 300 Hz refresh rate. The biggest surprise, however, is the price, which is just 799 yuan, around PLN 470.
300 Hz, 1 ms and DisplayHDR 400
The Redmi G25 2027 uses a Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The manufacturer specifies a 1 ms GtG response time, 400 nits brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The monitor also covers 100% of the sRGB colour space and 93% of DCI-P3, and holds DisplayHDR 400 certification.
It also includes AMD FreeSync Premium to help reduce screen tearing, and a Dynamic Overdrive feature that automatically adjusts pixel response time to the frame rate. Gamers can also use an on-screen crosshair and a dark-area brightening feature.
Connections and availability
The monitor is equipped with two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports and a headphone output. The full 300 Hz refresh rate is available via DisplayPort, while HDMI supports up to 240 Hz at Full HD. One limitation is the stand, which only allows tilt adjustment. However, a VESA 75 × 75 mm mount is available.
The Redmi G25 2027 is already available in China for 799 yuan (about PLN 470). Xiaomi has not yet confirmed a release date or price in Poland.
